We aim to provide free provision for our children and young people.
All activities listed at present are free to attend. So feel free to come along to any session for your age group.
FAR Community Centre offers children & young people a wide selection of activities and projects which they can join. Our main aim is for everyone to have fun, feel confident and safe.

Is on every Friday morning from 9 am-11 am.
So if you find that you and your little one are not busy, then come along and join us, meet new people and have a cuppa. We guarantee you and your little one will enjoy themselves.
Our Junior Club is on a Wednesday 4.00 pm-6.00 pm and is open to children aged 4½ to 9.
We have loads of activities every Wednesday and go on trips as well. We love to get messy with paints, glitter and face paints.
Special note
We no longer run open access for children aged 8 and younger. This means children must be signed in and out by a parent or an adult approved by a parent.
This session is on a Tuesday 4.00 pm-6.00 pm, open to young people aged 9 to 11.
In this session the young people like to chill with friends, the session is free choice and they enjoy activities from cooking, to arts and crafts, dance, internet and many other activities.
This session runs from 6.30 pm-8.30 pm on a Wednesday evening, and is open to young people aged 11 to 16.
Also like our inters club you can chill with friends and use the facilities available, the internet, pool, table top footy, table tennis and many more. We also like to try and work on different projects of their choice.
Is open on Mondays from 5.30 pm-6.30 pm. The drop in centre is open to males and females aged 11 to 25.
If your aged between 11 to 18 and find yourself at a loose end on a Monday night between 6.30 pm-8.30 pm come along and join us.
Get involved in our new project night, currently offering Getting Connected, Sugar Craft for young people, Family tree research or come in for advice and support from our youth work team.

We hope to try and continue these projects in the new year, with some additional projects. Do you want to learn to ski, learn first aid, and many more? then come and join us.
FAR Community Centre has an established equal opportunities policy and welcomes all children young people to access the available sessions.
The only requirement is that young people who are new to the centre complete a registration form that is signed by a parent or guardian.
